Student Affairs secures private funds in support of programs that help to balance academic, physical, emotional, and social well-being for students and reinforce the core values of the university. These programs include student organizations, student government, and cultural, community service, volunteerism and recreational activities.

Student Affairs also secures private funds for scholarships. Studying at UC Davis is an opportunity that benefits our graduates for the rest of their lives. Scholarships help make attendance at UC Davis a reality for all qualified students, regardless of financial status. In addition, scholarships can help fulfill societal needs for professionals in teaching, social work and other fields where starting salaries can be inadequate for paying off large accruals of student loans.
