Making a Difference
Thank you for considering a gift to UC Davis. On this site you will discover the many ways in which you can meet your philanthropic goals while advancing UC Davis’ excellence in teaching, research and public service for the betterment of the region, state, nation and world.
UC Davis is an academic powerhouse that is educating future leaders and innovating solutions to many of the world’s most critical issues. The many donors who have partnered with us and made philanthropic investments in our work have been instrumental in expanding our capacity to serve society as one of the nation’s top public research universities.
The Campaign for UC Davis — a university-wide initiative to inspire 100,000 donors to contribute $1 billion in philanthropic support by the end of 2014 — creates an unprecedented opportunity for UC Davis to extend the positive impacts of its land-grant mission, both locally and globally.
The UC Davis Foundation, a nonprofit organization that accepts philanthropic gifts on behalf of UC Davis and distributes philanthropic contributions according to donors’ wishes, plays an essential role in advancing UC Davis’ philanthropic goals and land-grant mission. The foundation, which is governed by a distinguished volunteer Board of Trustees, is enhancing the excellence of UC Davis by highlighting the positive impact of philanthropy and stewarding private donations to the university.
Additionally, gifts to the UC Davis Annual Fund advance UC Davis’ overall excellence by supporting our outstanding faculty and students, and providing the chancellor with crucial, flexible funding to enrich student life, respond to emerging opportunities, and meet pressing needs. These gifts — no matter the size — make a real impact.
We invite you to join us as we educate the nation’s best and brightest students, discover solutions to the world’s most critical issues, provide top-level care for patients and advance knowledge for the greater good.
