Volunteer Leadership Summit 2024

The UC Davis Volunteer Leadership Summit (VLS), held on October 18, 2024, coincided with the university’s celebration of the successful completion of the fundraising campaign Expect Greater: From UC Davis, for the World. This biennial networking event provides a platform for strategic training and discussions on the role of volunteers as philanthropic ambassadors for UC Davis. Notable highlights from VLS 2024 included a keynote address by Sue Cunningham, President and CEO of the global nonprofit Council for Advancement and Support of Education; a panel featuring distinguished volunteers Lois Goss ’85, Michael Hurlston ’88, M.B.A. ’90, M.S. ’91, and Sandra Reed, M.D. ’85; and a celebratory luncheon with Chancellor Gary S. May.
